Key Project Features

The Yagoona Public School project was a highly technical installation that showcases our expertise in providing advanced, performance-driven glazing solutions. The scope of work included:

• Specialised Louvres: We supplied a large quantity of Safetyline Jalousie glazed louvre windows, which are known for their security and durability. The project included a mix of manually operated and automated louvre systems.

• Automated Control System: A key feature was the integration of a sophisticated control system to manage the louvres for both general ventilation and smoke exhaust purposes. The system, provided by EBSA, included control panels, actuators, and a weather station, all designed to be compliant with EN12101-2 Smoke Hardware standards.

• High-Performance Glazing: All louvre units were glazed with ComfortPlus Clear Laminated 6.38mm glass, providing a combination of safety, thermal performance, and a clear aesthetic.

• Co-ordination: This project required close coordination with other trades, including the electrical and mechanical contractors, to ensure seamless integration of the louvre automation and control systems with the building's infrastructure.

The Result

The completed Yagoona Public School project has been equipped with a modern and highly functional glazing system. The installation of advanced louvre technology, integrated with an automated control system, has provided the school with a sophisticated solution for both daily ventilation and critical smoke exhaust functions, ensuring the safety and comfort of students and staff.
