Project Overview
Key Project Features
The MS Wellbeing Centre project was a complex and large-scale installation for a facility designed to cater to specific community needs. The scope of work included:
High-Performance & Specialised Glazing: We installed 24mm Clear DGU Low-E Glass for external glazing on both the WBC and SDA buildings, providing superior thermal performance. In specific areas of the WBC, we used 24mm Translucent DGU Low-E Glass for privacy and a unique aesthetic. Internal glazing for the SDA building featured 10.38mm Clear laminated glass.
Colourback Glass: The project included the use of 6mm obscured colourback glass in designated areas, providing a distinct and modern design element to the buildings.
Extensive Automation: A key feature of the project was the installation of a large number of automated doors, including 12 automatic sliding doors for the WBC and 26 automatic doors (swing and sliding) for the SDA building. This greatly enhanced accessibility for users of the facilities.
Durable Finish: All aluminium frames were finished with a high-quality Powder coated Duratec Zeus Monument Satin, ensuring durability and a professional aesthetic that complements the facility's design.
The Result
The completed MS Wellbeing Centre project stands as a prime example of our capability in delivering comprehensive and high-quality glazing solutions for specialised health and community facilities. The successful integration of automated, high-performance, and aesthetically diverse glazing systems has resulted in a safe, accessible, and modern environment that will benefit the community for years to come.
