Project Overview

Key Project Features

The Vine Church project highlights our company's ability to handle both initial construction and subsequent maintenance and repair work. The scope of work included two distinct phases:

  • Initial Glazing Installation: In the first phase (2021), we provided and installed 10.38mm clear laminated glass into existing steel window frames. This required close coordination with the client, as we were responsible for the glass itself, while the frames and hardware were supplied and installed by others. We also supplied and installed a new aluminium framed door and a skylight system, demonstrating our capability for a wide range of installations.

  • Specialised Repair Work: A later project (2023) required us to return and replace cracked glass panels. This involved the careful removal and disposal of the existing panels and the precise installation of a new 12.38mm laminated glass panel for a sliding door and a 10.38mm laminated glass panel for a swing door. We also applied new safety decals to the replaced panels.

  • Customised Solutions: This project showcases our flexibility, as we were tasked with a unique scope that involved working with existing structures and frames supplied by others. Our team provided the glass, delivered it to the site, and handled the installation, demonstrating our expertise in these specific project types.

The Result

Our work at Vine Church has resulted in a safe and fully glazed building, initially providing a modern touch to the existing steel frames and later ensuring the building's integrity with professional repair work. This project demonstrates our full-service capability, from large-scale initial installations to detailed, one-off repair jobs, ensuring the client's needs are met throughout the building's lifecycle.
