Project Overview
Key Project Features
The Tamarama SLSC project was a unique installation that required a glazing solution capable of performing in a demanding coastal environment. The scope of work included:
Specialised Glazing: We installed a mix of glass types to suit the various needs of the facility, including 6.38mm & 10.38mm Clear laminated glass and 24mm clear DGU glass where nominated. This provided a durable and safe solution that is resistant to the corrosive effects of salt and sea spray.
Unique Design Elements: A key feature was the installation of a curved fixed glass panel, which provided a modern and striking architectural element. The project also included sashless double-hung windows from the ANEETA system, providing a clean and minimalist look, along with a number of manually operated glass louvres for natural ventilation.
Diverse Systems: The project incorporated a wide range of systems, including sliding windows, fixed panels, and swing doors, all designed to meet the functional requirements of the Surf Life Saving Club.
Durable Finish: All aluminium frames and doors were finished with a Powder Coated standard colour range, ensuring a robust and long-lasting aesthetic.
The Result
The completed Tamarama SLSC project showcases our expertise in delivering high-quality, customised glazing solutions for facilities in challenging environmental conditions. The blend of durable materials, modern design elements, and functional window systems has resulted in a safe and visually impressive building that is perfectly suited for its seaside location.
