Project Overview
Key Project Features
The Danebank Stage 2 Junior School project required a diverse and high-performance glazing solution to meet the needs of a modern educational facility. The scope of work included the installation of:
Advanced Glazing Systems: We installed a variety of laminated Low-E glass for the exterior and clear laminated glass for interior spaces, ensuring both energy efficiency and safety.
Acoustic Performance: A key requirement for the internal spaces was noise reduction. We provided and installed 10.5mm & 12.5mm Hush laminated glass to create quiet and focused learning environments.
Specialised Panels: The project featured a unique blend of systems, including 6mm toughened colourback glass for spandrel panels, adding a distinct visual element to the building's facade. We also installed manually operated glass louvres to provide natural ventilation.
Frame and Finish: All aluminium frames were finished with a versatile Natural/Clear Anodised or standard powder coating, providing durability and a clean aesthetic.
The Result
The completed Danebank Junior School project showcases our ability to deliver a comprehensive glazing package for educational institutions. The successful integration of high-performance Low-E glass, specialised acoustic panels, and aesthetic features like colourback glass has resulted in a safe, quiet, and energy-efficient building that is perfectly suited to its purpose.
