Key Project Features

The ANKA upgrade project was a complex and high-profile refurbishment focused on modernising the building's facade and improving the main lobby area. The scope of work included:

• Curtain Wall Installation: The centrepiece of the project was the installation of a new curtain wall system, glazed with 13.52mm clear toughened laminated glass. This system was designed to meet AS1288 and provide a striking, modern aesthetic to the building's exterior.

• Specialised Glazing: We used 10mm bronze laminated glass for some external windows, providing a unique and sophisticated look while offering additional solar control. We also installed 10.38mm clear laminated glass for other internal and external areas.

• Automated Access: A key functional feature was the installation of automatic glazed sliding doors, supplied by a trusted brand such as ADIS, Briter or Auto Ingress. These doors greatly improved accessibility and modernised the main entrance.

• Durable Finish: All aluminium frames, doors, and automatic door systems were finished with a high-quality Dulux DURATEC Powder coated Monument Matt, ensuring a long-lasting and robust finish that complements the building's new design.

The Result

The completed ANKA facade and lobby upgrade has successfully transformed the building's entrance into a modern and functional space. The combination of a sleek new curtain wall, bronze-tinted glass, and automated doors has not only improved the building's aesthetics but also enhanced its functionality and appeal for tenants and visitors.
